Not quite death masks, but masks attached to counter top mannequin forms one finds in a department store. They all have a similar blank blank stare. They don’t seem to be ancient or contemporary, maybe caught in a purgatory of sorts. Very funerary and mildly creepy. The glazing doesn’t seem to solidify each object or the group, it seems only decorative. Sort of sad overall. Maybe that was the intent.
