Tom Doyle: Works from Germany, 1964-1965

Recorded October 2021. Led by Sculptor Garth Evens, and joined for the talk by Sculpture Forum regulars, sculptors Jock Ireland and Brandt Junceau. Sculpture Forum visits Zurcher Gallery, New York, to experience the surprising work created by sculptor Tom Doyle, made during his time in Germany with then-spouse, Eva Hesse.   1. Interesting film: intriguing, unusual and unfamiliar abstract work. Quite awkward and not slick pieces, though well-made. The colour is very good and different to other sculpture.
