Organic common forms romantically decaying. As was mentioned, probably not her intention (the aging). The installation of these particular pieces by the gallery seems to be further shaping/signifying the romantic, heroic tragedy of Hesse’s life that has mythologized Eva. I much prefer her work to the hardness of Andre or the perfection of Judd or the coolness of Flavin, and hope that the myth does not end up overshadowing the work.
